Setup Instructions

 

  1. Open “Settings” on your mobile phone.
  2. Go to “Mail

    3. Go to “Accounts

  1. If you have your LCSO email on your phone already:
    1. Click on the “LCSO” account
    2. If you do not see an LCSO option, click the second option that is under accounts. You should then see LCSO.
    3. Then click “Delete Account
    4. Then go back into “Accounts”
  2. Click “Add Account
  3. Use Microsoft Exchange with the new account
  4. Your Email will be your ID#@lcso.org (Example: 1234@lcso.org)
  5. Change the description from “Exchange” to “LCSO
  6. Click “Next
  7. Password is your Windows Credentials log in. (20 Character Password)
  8. Click “Next
  9. Click “Skip Setup” on the Windows Authenticator prompt
  10. Then Save



Manual Configuration: (if needed)


You need to know if the user is still on-prem or cloud migrated in Exchange.


On-prem Exchange User:

  1. Do steps 1-8 on the Mobile Setup
  2. Then click "Configure Manually"
    a. Email: FirstName.Lastname@lcso.org
    b. Server: mail.lcso.org
    c. Domain: LEO/CJO
    d. Username: ID#
    e. 20 Character Password (Windows Credentials)
    f. Description: LCSO
  3. Then Click "Save"

Cloud migrated Exchange user:

  1. Do steps 1-8 on the Mobile Setup
  2. Then click "Configure Manually"
    a. Email: FirstName.Lastname@lcso.org
    b. Server: outlook.office365.com
    c. Domain: [blank]
    d. Username: ID#@lcso.org
    e. 20 Character Password (Windows Credentials)
    f. Description: LCSO
  3. Then Click "Save"
