We have granted access to the Jail Roster web app behind login on the public website.
There are a few minor limitations to be aware of in this format:
- Rank/role configuration is available on the intranet access only
- Employee profile pictures are served on the intranet access only
Troubleshooting Tip:
Our public website is "smart" enough to recognize specific networks as being LCSO owned, to connect users to the intranet instead of the limited access public login menu. Logging in on a mobile phone (no VPN access) which is connected to LCSO wifi can cause confusion, as your phone may attempt to connect you to the VPN only site (intranet.lcso.org) which your phone does not have a security certificate to access. Your mobile phone on any other internet connection (mobile internet, home wifi, etc) should direct you to the appropriate login page. The simple fix if you are trying to access this web app while physically on-site is to either use a desktop computer connected directly to the internal network, or switch off wifi on your phone long enough to log in to the limited access public login menu.
