With Internet Explorer losing support in 2022, nice recorder will need to open in Microsoft Edge in order to function.
Microsoft edge contains a compatibility mode which will allow for sites that only work w/ internet explorer to still function in edge.
To activate this follow the instructions below.
Prior to launching Nice Recorder
Open Microsoft Edge
Navigate to the three dots in the top right corner of the browser window and click it
When the pane expands find settings towards the bottom and click it
This will open another tab in the browser, find default browser and click it
Find the field referencing Internet Explorer compatibility
Click the drop down for the field "Let Internet Explorer open sites in Microsoft Edge" and change the value from "never" to Incompatible Sites only (Recommended)
After changing this setting you should be able to relaunch nice recorder w/ the internet explorer shortcut, and it should redirect to edge and open normally.
