Problem: Files/Folders aren’t syncing in OneDrive – OR – Files/Folders are missing.

Primary Solution:

Step 1: Click the Windows button at the bottom of your screen.

Step 2: Type OneDrive into the search bar.

Step 3: Click on the OneDrive App (steps shown below.)

Note: OneDrive opens in the background so you may not see anything pop up right away.

Step 4: At the bottom of your screen (near the date & time,) click on the little blue cloud icon to open OneDrive. It should look like this:


Note: Your files will begin to sync once this app is open. If OneDrive is in the syncing process, it will state Processing Changes. Once complete, it will state Your files are synced.


Secondary Solution:

Step 1: If you open OneDrive and see a button that says Sign In, click it.

Step 2: Enter your username – YourID#@lcso.org

Step 3: Enter your windows password (the one you use to login to the computer.)

Once signed in, OneDrive will begin syncing your files.

 

Final Solution:

Step 1: Find the little blue cloud on the bottom right of your screen (near the date & time,) right click on it > click the settings icon > Quit OneDrive.

Step 2: Follow the steps in the Primary Solution to reboot OneDrive.
