Task: Submit a budget request for an upcoming fiscal year.
Instructions:
- Log in to the LCSO Intranet, and search for Budget Requests.
- Click on the Green + button in the bottom right.

What to Expect Next:
The designated chain of command responsible for the selected bureau will be notified of your request for spending.
If approved up the chain, Finance will be notified and you will receive confirmation that your budget request has been received.
Final approval will still be pending Finance's discretion after the LCSO budget is determined at the county level, and funds can be allocated. Finance reserves the right to deny and/or defer this spending if funding allocation does not allow.
You will receive a follow-up email much later on (after the budget is determined) confirming if your spending request has indeed been budgeted for or if does not fit into the approved LCSO budget for the next fiscal year.
