Before setting up your keeper account, please install the following on the computer and/or mobile device. If you don't have these installed, here are links on how to install the app and extension:

Once you have them installed, we can begin the setup. Please follow the steps below:

1.) An email invitation from "Keeper Teams" should be in your mailbox. If so, Click the "Setup Your Account" button.

2.) Once on the "Create Your Account" screen, your email address is your ID#@lcso.org. Click "Next"(Make sure Enterprise SSO Login is selected in the tab below. It should be by default.)

3.) The following will pop up: 



Click "OK" and flip the slider to green for "Duo Security". Then Click "Next"


3a.) If you are using the Duo app, Click "Duo Push"; you will receive a push notification to approve.

3b.) If you are using a Duo token, enter the 6-digit code in the "Verification Field".

4.) Backup Codes will now pop up; please use the "snipping tool" to screenshot it and save it somewhere you'll remember. Once you have it screenshotted and saved, Click "I have written these codes down."

5.) You will now be in the Keeper "Web Vault." In the bottom right, Click "Import Now".

6.) In the "Settings" menu, Click "Import" at the top right.

7.) You will get a message asking you to install a "Keeper Import Tool." Click "Install"

8.) Open the file in the top right; it should be called "keeperimport.exe."

9.) Once the tool is open, copy & paste the code into the tool to import all passwords you saved from Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge.

             9a.) If you have passwords stored physically or in documents, you must import or manually put them into Keeper as it is a security violation.

 

The Keeper Browser Extension will go to "Sleep" upon closing the browser window. To resolve this, follow these steps: 

1.) In the Web Vault, click on your account in the top right.

2.) Click "settings".

3.) Go to "Security" and flip the "Stay Logged In" switch to green.

3a.) "Are You Sure" alert will pop up; click enable.
