If your shift has enabled employee self-assignment for annual leave on the LCSO Rosters web app, then employees will get the following actionable task in the "..." menu for Annual:

Employees can only add themselves to the Annual spot on the roster when there is availability. In this example, that is up to 3 people per shift (this number is configurable).
After there are 3 people, the "Assign Self" option disappears.

Supervisors always retain the ability to add/remove people from this roster location, like all others, until the roster is signed off.

Supervisors are also not limited by the shift availability number, i.e. if it is deemed appropriate to have 4 people off on that day.

This feature is disabled by default. If you are a shift supervisor, and would like this feature enabled for your shift so that employees can schedule their own leave on the calendar (pending availability), please reach out to IT at [email protected]

Reporting:

If you are a shift supervisor, you should have access to two reporting methods that you may choose to use if you want to see annual leave for more than 1 day at a time.

For a tile-based view, select the Annual roster slot on the shift, along with a date range.
Select "Search" in the top right in the Shift Roster view.

For an excel spreadsheet view, use the Absence Summary report. Select Reports > Absence Summary in the top right of the Shift Roster view.
