Body Worn Camera (BWC) Pairing with Fleet Dashboard

Pairing Requirements

  • BWCs remain paired to the Fleet Dashboard for 10 days. 
  • After 10 days, the BWC must be manually re-paired. 
  • BWCs must be paired separately in each vehicle used. 
  • The BWC must be assigned to your account before pairing can be completed. 


Fleet Video Assignment Information

Fleet 3 videos are automatically assigned to the last user signed in to the vehicle’s Hub.

If videos are being assigned to you incorrectly, it is typically because the previous user did not sign out of Fleet Dashboard before leaving the vehicle.


Best Practice: Signing Out of Fleet Dashboard

  • Before Leaving a Vehicle

Whether using an assigned or spare vehicle:

    1. Open Fleet Dashboard. 
    2. Select the Settings (Gear) icon. 
    3. Select Sign Out.
  • When Entering a Vehicle
    1. Launch Fleet Dashboard. 
    2. Log in using your assigned credentials.

Following these steps helps ensure videos are assigned to the correct user account.
