Instructions:
Step 1: Login to Workday
Step 2: Search Request Absence in the search bar & click it.
Step 3: Click the date(s) you’re requesting time off. You can use the calendar, or you can select Date Range to enter multiple consecutive days.
Click Continue when you’ve completed your selection.
Step 4: Select the type of time off you’re requesting (example below is for annual/vacation time.)
Step 5: Enter the number of hours you’re requesting off (it will autofill to the number of hours you typically work in one day.)
Step 6 (Optional): Add a general comment and/or a comment to your supervisor. You can also add any attachments you need to include.
Step 7 (Optional): Click the small arrow next to Total Request Amount to view the number of hours you have accumulated versus what your balance will be after the time off.
Step 8: Click Submit Request
Outcome: Your request will be submitted for supervisor approval.
